IBD Citywide Rounds

March 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm EDT

Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are both major categories of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). IBD continues to affect an estimated 1.6 million Americans. These chronic diseases tend to run in families, and they affect males and females equally, while IBD can affect anyone. IBD Citywide Rounds is a unique non-CME educational activity that will allow healthcare providers to share experiences and lessons in management of difficult IBD patients and foster collaboration between medical, surgical and endoscopy teams among healthcare institutions within the region. In addition to discussing up-to-date management strategies for IBD, it will create a platform for training fellows to learn and share experiences that will help shape the next generation of IBD specialists.

This activity is directed to a regional audience of practitioners and health care professionals, including physicians, surgeons, residents, fellows, nurses, physician assistants, and allied health professionals specializing in treatment of IBD.
