
The Digestive Disease Institute at the Cleveland Clinic offers an extensive IBD education program including comprehensive training for Advanced IBD Fellows, APPs, PharmDs, and other GI experts. Our programming could not happen without the generosity of our industry partners. Opportunities include:
- IBD Corporate Immersion Program: This multi-day, customized training provides industry partners with exposure to IBD-related topics, case presentations and in-person observation of endoscopy, inpatient/outpatient service and the OR. - IBD LIVE: Weekly one-hour interactive webcast discussions of notable cases from around the world hosted by Miguel Regueiro. Thursday from 7 to 8 am (ET). CME credit available with MOC points (ABIM, ABS and ABP). IBD LIVE averages 350 global healthcare provider registrants each week. Note: Support for this series is through educational grants only. - MILESTONE APP: Six month virtual training for the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with exposure to IBD patients. Includes intensive online educational experience incorporating a mixture of virtual clinical practice roundtable discussions, focus groups, didactics, and team-based learning. - MILESTONE APP LEAD Workshop: This workshop is scheduled for November 7-8, 2026, in Nashville, TN. This workshop is specifically designed to enhance the clinical and leadership skillsets of GI APPs with a focus on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis to become key opinion leaders for their local and regional IBD communities and strategize best practices for collaborations in IBD including industry partners, GI/IBD societies and across institutions/healthcare systems. - MILESTONE IBD FELLOWS: Year-long hybrid training for Advanced IBD Fellows includes an intensive online educational experience incorporating a mixture of virtual clinical practice roundtable discussions, focus groups, didactics, and team-based learning. An annual in-person professional skills retreat is also included in the curriculum, as well as an intensive 2-day intestinal ultrasound training program.
